The Ministry of Public Health Coronavirus Bulletin #609 with the deadline of 17 November 2021 reports 893 new cases, the second day with cases under 1,000 after seven consecutive day of more than 1,000 cases. Bulletin #609 reports active Covid-19 cases are up to 5,047 active cases, up (+514) compared to the day before. The number of active cases is considerably less than the peak of 55,773 active cases registered in July 2021, and is evidence the vaccines are working.



The Ministry of Public Health says the country is experiencing a fourth wave of the virus, but is hopeful that since more than 63.5% of the population has at least two doses of vaccine, and 77% has at least one dose, the outbreak will continue to be manageable.
