The Ministry of Public Health Coronavirus Bulletin #612 with the deadline of 20 November 2021 reports 817 new cases, the lowest cases recorded since late October when the upward trend began again. Bulletin #612 reports active Covid-19 cases are at 4,577 active cases, down (-547) compared to the day before. The number of active cases is considerably less than the peak of 55,773 active cases registered in July 2021, and is evidence the vaccines are working.



The Ministry of Public Health says the country is experiencing a fourth wave of the virus, but is hopeful that since more than 63.5% of the population has at least two doses of vaccine, and 77% has at least one dose, the outbreak will continue to be manageable. Director of Epidemiology, Dr. Ronald Skewes understands the country is experiencing a plateau as the number of new cases has stabilized.
