The 4-week positivity continues to drop and is now at 4.20%, with the 24-hour positivity at 16.81% for Covid-19 Bulletin #921 dated 25 September 2022.

The number of Covid-19 cases in the Dominican Republic for Bulletin #921 was 104. The seven-day average (confirmed lab-reported cases) is at 167. The number of active cases is now at 639 and 724 for the seven-day average.

Except in hospitals, every day less people wear facial masks in the Dominican Republic. Nevertheless, in recent days, given a known common cold that is getting around, more people have been resorting back to their face masks as a preventive measure here to stay.

As per Bulletin #921, with the deadline of 25 September 2022, the Ministry of Public Health has registered 645,628 PCR or antigen-confirmed cases since the first case on 1 March 2020.

As of the 25 September 2022 deadline, 4,384 persons are reported to have died...
