Coronavirus Covid-19 September Bulletin #192/26 shows steady decline in positivity

The Ministry of Public Health’s Epidemiology Department Coronavirus Bulletin #192 reports 429 cases of persons testing positive to PCR tests over the past 24 hours. The number of cases has kept under 500 for the first time in the past seven days. The health ministry announced the processing of 4,440 first PCR tests in time for the Saturday, 26 September deadline. The 14-day average for first PCR tests is now at 3,737 PCR tests. The Ministry of Public Health says the demand for PCR tests has declined.

The 24-hour positivity rate for Bulletin #189 is at 9.66%, a record low and the first time the 24-hour positivity rate falls below 10%. The four-week positivity rate continues to decline and is now at 13.13%, a striking difference from the 25% positivity rate of two weeks ago.
