I guess I do not understand what "being gay" may have to do with his singing or if women like him to the point of hysteria. If I am not mistaken, he has something like 4 or 5 kids.

I know loads of gay men who have kids. One of my friends had 5 kids with the same woman and then decided to come out.

I do think that any woman who kisses another guy and is so sexual with him in front of her husband can't really respect her husband, particularly if she does it in front of a crowd of people. So she deserves to be dumped.

It's just a bit soft how he sings, there are also other male singers with a similar tone, perhaps not so strong though... I'm no fan, neither is my wife, but he doesn't sing bad by any means...
My wife is a huge fan and I mean huge, so I know exactly how he sings.
Unfortunately.

I'm a big fan of bachata and have quite a few favorite bachata singers but both he and his style of bachata are at the very bottom. He sins like a girl.
Exactly as I see it. And I certainly know how popular he was and still is.

Yet he's pretty successful... Must be doing something right. As said, there are no fans of his in our household but obviously I know of him...
Popular music and good music are frequently not he same. He is a perfect example of this.

I said he sings like he is gay. It is his style and he makes a lot of money at it.
He could be any gender pronoun he wants to be. I am no fan of his very effeminate style. Not at all.
Many people love it....

He sings well for his style. No doubt. I just cannot listen to it. I find it very annoying.

When my wife saw Smokey Robinson sing on Live From Daryl's House, she thought he was gay.
So I said, now you know how I feel when I have to listen to Aventura/Romeo.... But she didn't get it.
And so it goes.

Ricky Martin is gay as well, and he doesn't sing like he is gay, if there is such a thing. I worked with a gay French Canadian who has one of the deepest baritone voices I have ever heard.

I like Romeo, but also Anthony Santos.
And you just hit my least favorite guitar merengue guy. Not because he sings like he is gay, I just really dislike guitar merengue.
Yeah, I have seen him live and I know Antony Santos also does some Bachatas, don't really like them much either.

I like Frank Reyes and others much better than the also very popular Antony Santos.. Oh well, it is what it is.

Not quite sure what @Big was trying to say, but what a great classic rock song! Wonder if he was hanging out at Woodstock catching them live :)

Absolutely no reason for that...in no way did I take a shot at you. But, maybe you just needed an afternoon nap (sorry KC, couldn't let that go without saying something)
