I can confirm that Covid-19 cases and deaths have spiked upwards in Moca. There are currently no beds available at the hospital and patients are being sent to Santiago. Additionally and sadly, the morgue is currently full to capacity.

I keep hearing the rumour that they are planning a 24 hour lockdown, and the health minister is asking Danilo to do this. What do people think?

I would prefer the people would not think at all, but strictly follow the regulations. You have probably heard of PISA study. What kind of "thinking" are you expecting?

"He explained that in these interventions epidemiological fences could be established in provinces and places but not in the entire national territory simultaneously."

Ive heard this rumor myself. But today the minister of health said its just that, rumors.

Australia apparently just went back into a strict 6 weeks lockdown. I just can’t imagine that happening here. I certainly hope not. It must be very difficult for the government to decide what is best to do. I think it was right though to open up for visitors. Most of the ones coming that I know or see on SoMe or here on dr1 are either home owners, have family here or are just used to coming here a lot and are sort of snowbirds then although not the season.
