The government has stated previously, around the first week in November, that on December 1, 2021 they were going to actually enforce the vaccine restrictions on those entering public spaces. That would include any shopping areas, public transport of any kind including the METRO and a whole lot more. No idea what is going on with the METRO right this minute. Waiting three weeks to enforce what is being for the most part ignored makes no sense, but that is the approach they said they would take.Is this happening at all the Metro stations? Forcing people to wait in lines will only make things worse. I'll use UBER (the very first use was in Zona Colonia - couldn't find taxi on a holiday!! and many times they dont want to go where I need to. plus my hotel is in residential area. same problem in Panama) or hire private driver.
Just came back from Mexico. no border closures, no lockdowns, no checking. Lot of people on subway and bus, its fine. and all of Mexico (except Baja Ca) is green light (their risk map)
