I love a good brisket. Now I am 65...that's what I want.
Excellent point! More or less, confirms what one of my older drinking buddies said. “When I was young, I dreamt about food and sex. Now I dream about food.”

Age does have a way of mellowing things out. Especially when we get less tolerant as we age. The less melodrama in my life at this point, the better it is. I still enjoy the company of younger and older ladies and good for the soul relaxing rides on my motorcycle on warm sunny days.

Contracting cancer increased my awareness of my mortality. Defeating it heightened my love of life. A bit of a cliche but true. My most important relationship now is with my doctor.

thats not what I want.....older wiskey... faster horses... more money.......YOUNGER WOMEN.........
Not for me. Those young un's are tiresome, worrisome and troublesome. Never had horses and money is not a concern. Give me a good brisket, cooked low and slow, yes whisky...that's my happiness now. I am a mellow fellow.

I agree Ramesses. My experiences with the younger ones have proven them to be good for the ego but hard on the wallet. Not just young DR ladies but young ladies in other countries as well.

At my age I don’t want what many young women want. They want children or have them and I don’t want to raise other people’s children. I dont want the big houses and multiple cars anymore. I much prefer the company of ladies closer to my age. Ladies with no children or children grown and gone. Ladies with life experiences and many other things in common with me. Things we to relate to and discuss.

The French ladies I met and spent time with in the DR were my favourite. Many were extremely intelligent, worldly, independent, and very comfortable with their sexuality because of their European mindset.

They weren’t interested in marriage. Just looking to spend their one or two week vacation in the DR with someone who appreciated the benefits of their company. They enjoyed getting away from the resorts and seeing the real DR when I took them on road trips from Rio San Juan to La Isabella.

Nothing wrong with savouring a good brisket and a good single malt at any age.
