I was looking to get some implant work started but didn't want to travel too far from Sosua to have it done. I didn't want to drive or bus to Santiago back and forth or elsewhere. I didn't even want to drive to POP or Cab. (I'm lazy) I had been to Ciabo Dental Clinic/Moca in the past and was very pleased with their work. I just didn’t like the travel part.

I read that Dr. Wendy Juma in Sosua was advertising Implants. So I went to see her for a consult. I had never been to her but had always heard great things.
Turns out that Dr. Wendy works with a Dra. Yasmin Pacheco (implant specialist) from Santiago. Dr. Juma performs all the regular dental needs and all the implant prep (extractions, adjustments, measuring, lab work, x-rays, etc). Then on "Implant Day" Dr. Pacheco drives up and the two of them work together installing the implants.

It was great. No problems, no pain and the procedure went extremely smooth. I got Santiago implant prices and only minutes from my house. All total, I ended up getting 3 implants, 2 crowns and one extraction, over two weeks time. All done in about 5 visits. I couldn't be happier with the work performed.

I highly recommend Dr. Wendy Juma in Sosua and Dr. Yasmin Pacheco in Santiago - they are a great team! In a few months, I go back for the crowns.

One of the facts that makes Wendy so professional is her university professor, our own Hillbilly!

Wendy is good people indeed.
How much for the work so far??

When we first started talking, the implants were quoted at 1,000 usd each. I ended up getting three, plus added some other work. I don't want to give out the price I paid because every situation will be different. But I can honestly say that I was very pleased with the work and the price.

Need contact number for Dr. Wendy in Sosua. My friend will be here next winter getting his dive master certification from Dive Pro. He wants her contact number and will send her his X-rays. Does she speak English and have a website?

Dr. Wendy Juma 809-571-2767

We conversed mostly by Whatsap before I went in. I sent her a fresh panoramic prior to my visit.
Yes, she speaks English. I think they're working on the website.
