Dentist Office....Emergency Service

Good day to All,

I ate some piece of meat my wife cooked, it was unfortunately too tough and very hard. I damaged one on my back teeth and I am suffering svere pain since it happened. A few days so far. The whole half of my head hurts, from top to bottom.
I contacted my usual Dentist office and they responded: We are closed.
My question is, does anyone know of any Dentist Office being open....possibly an emergency service of some sort. (Santo Domingo)

Call your dentist back and ask if they can give you the name of a dentist that is available for emergency work.

Early on in this lock down I needed a dentist and found all of the local offices were closed. Came home, googled "dentist <insert town>" and began calling them one by one until I found one that invited me to meet them at their office the next morning. They opened just for me.

I have noticed that some dental offices now have a sign on the door with a telephone number to call...

If you wish to save the tooth by extraordinary measures stick with the bigger dental operations. The preferred approach at the smaller offices these days seems to centre around pulling the tooth if it is not a straight forward fix.

My recent Dentist Visit

I have lost 2 rather large fillings recently...
The dentist thread got me going....

My Sosua girl won't leave the house so I called Cibao Dental (STI)
I go there for more serious issues - my wife won't go anywhere else.
Actually Big Bird went there..... I met him there once !!

Anyway... I got an appointment (2 1/2 hrs away for me)

When I got there , My friend the dentista gave me the full flattery welcome....
I should have been suspicious.......

It seems they were instituting a new sanitization procedure and I was the 1st candidate.
According, there was a camera man, lighting... the works.... to record the instructional video

I am now an instructional video estrella....... yesiree Bob !!

wipe feet
enter and take temperature
hands sanitized
gown and hair net and gloves delivered
then some plastic wrap stuck on the soles of your shoes

Your own mask at all times

I am recorded for posterity as the cleanest, most protected dental patient on the planet

The tooth fix didn't go as smoothly....

2 hrs+ in the chair.....no pain !! thank God
BUT
root canal and crown needed.....

The Sabaneta-Moca road is a disaster !!!
hoyos grandes !!!

The drive kills me

However... Bravo dog food and other bits
Nacional meats and more bits...

Left at 7:30am - back just before 6pm

dead flat exhausted

Now the return trip..... eartly June

They are doing emergencies only.... not regular visits

This getting old is not fun !!!

Falling apart like a cheap suit !!!
