Do I break the 30 day overstay rule if...
I've come to the conclusion that it's up to the random person who you get in immigration.
hard to answer the new system's quirks/rules.
when added manually - I have heard of people correcting the count for February (28 days) when the agent went Feb 15 to Mar 15 , for example.

You may be right, I did get a computerized receipt that had my full name and passport # on it - I'm going to try to find it and see if it has the dates printed.

I'm not qualified to hold classes on how to count to 31. I can't even do it by getting completely undressed.
As my overpriced publicity specialist has already pointed out, I don't leave. If I did, or when I do, the overstay fines aren't applicable to me.

The over stay fine is the best system in the world. People stop bitching about it. I am broke as hell but will not bitch about $55/$100 to stay in the DR.

i wasnt concerned about the fee amount but I figured that with the new law they are creating a new database of prior overstayers. I plan on entering this country 3x a year and dont want to get on some fool list when i try to reenter in August. Will change my ticket to may 28 as I dont know how they count to 30 here.
