I have a few VISA vanilla debit gift cards and I want to use them to purchase groceries online.

Does anyone know if supermarkets with online presence accept this type of payment?

Or is there some way to transfer the amount from the card to someone on the island?

For example, let’s say I have a Visa gift card has $20, is there any way so that I can transfer $10 to someone over there? Then that person would withdraw those $10.

Thanks.

Your memory is slipping.

Send one to him and see if it works. I would think it would since it's a debit card.

Unfortunately, I can’t send it.

I sent it once to a taino express and the card disappeared. Lucky for me it only had $25.

Those cards are specifically designed for Domestic use (USA).

I have bought them as gifts for birthdays, graduations and so on.

Call their Customer Service and they will confirm that they are designed for use in the USA.
