My experience in Car Insurance is that I have never been asked for my Drivers Licence, drivers record etc. etc. Here in the D.R. they insure the car, not the car and driver, the funniest part was on my first time insuring a vehicle, I was asked if I wanted to insure 1. the whole of the car, or 2. Threequarters..3. Half..... or none of the above, only for injury.....I think they meant in value, when I told them only insure the front... no problem....others guy problem if someone hits the back!!Cheers M.
