Walk down Venezuela one Saturday night, take a look in "Cool Bar, "House Drink" etc, then cross the bridge and take a look in the clubs and bars on Lincoln, Lopa de Vega etc. Then you might understand how distinctly different the fashion statements and cultural norms really are.
If you take a girl from "House Drink" and stick her in "PRAIA" or "Switch" she will look and feel like a fish out of water. The girls in PRAIA" or "Switch" will never cross the river, if they do, they will not tell their friends.
Some of you need to actually experience what goes on here, how fashion functions and who the various fashions apply to.
When was the last time any of you spent time around Venezuela and Lincoln/Churchill area at night? After all, these are by far the two most popular night spots in the Dominican Republic. Jammed packed with 1,000's of people on a Fri/Sat night.
