The Dominican government is offering entrepeneuriak tips to any Dominican thinking of going into business for him/herself or already has a business and is looking for ways to improve how he/she improves their management. This is done via the INFOTEP institution. In the website shown people can download for free manuals, articles, etc about running a business.

I'm seeing more and more English words mixed in with Spanish on store signs and commercial vehicles - even in the barrio where you wouldn't expect it.

Also in speech. There are certain words that Dominicans seem to have a preference for the English equivalent.
