Also I would like to mention that most of the singers like the senor who was singing on playa Caleton, were singing old mexican marriachi-like songs. I thought this one was Dominican.

I have to add that most songs won't make much sense when translated... at least melodically.
Such is the case with many, many songs, and especially some of my favorites, such as the Pretender's "Back on the Chain Gang" which, when translated to Spanish, became "Fotos y recuerdos," with vastly different meaning.
Supposedly, music critics preferred the Spanish version, but I beg to differ.
