After reading in today's dr1 news about the Bani Mango Festival, I wanted to start a thread about Dominican towns/regions and the food they are known for, as lots of Dominican towns have a special food, produce or treat every visitor should experience. I think this will be helpful for future visitors who venture around the country.

I know of a few but I'll start with Bani:

Bani: Mangos & Dulce de Leche (Las Tres Rosas Brand)

Yuca is best from Moca.
