Dominican Republic – Coronavirus Covid-19: Bulletin #101/27 June 2020

According to Coronavirus Bulletin #101 of the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology, the Dominican Republic has 31,373 confirmed cases, 754 new confirmed cases from 146,060 PCR diagnostic tests. The number of PCR cases for the bulletin is 3,720, a new record in PCR testing for a single day.

The tally of deaths is now 726, including 8 new registered deaths.

As of Bulletin #101, 3,042 patients are hospitalized, a new record. Of these, 201 patients are in intensive care units. The fatality rate, the number of reported deaths per number of confirmed cases continues to decline. It is now at 2.31%. Positivity rate over the past 4 weeks is 21.02%.
