The Dominican Republic and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a landmark cybersecurity cooperation agreement in Dubai during the GISEC Global 2025 event.
Luis Soto, director of the Dominican Republic’s National Cybersecurity Center (under the National Investigations Department – DNI), and Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, director of the UAE’s Cybersecurity Council, the top officials from both countries’ leading cybersecurity agencies, signed the agreement.
During the signing ceremony, both parties discussed potential initiatives to enhance the cybersecurity ecosystem in the Dominican Republic.
