That has to do with foreign nationals being able to enter the US with proof of vaccination which is a separate issue from DR tourism, which has had little restriction.

And I am not interested in Banco Central old numbers either. If you were ever at PUJ lately you would see what I mean. Lots full of cars. Both terminals open full blast......................

Yes, DR recovering well.... thx to demand... other destinations--- not so good

As far as the DR goes there might be more people at Playa Grande beach today than tourists here from the UK. Due to tough rules in the UK since the pandemic started there have been few tourists from the UK going to Punta Cans. And that is not a guess either........................
