This has to be the same Thompson that used to hold a shindig at Costambar? I know I have met the man. He was a photographer of some talent. And his wife!! Of course!! They used to bring down everything from glasses to money, cash, for orphanages and good causes. They were a major donor to Beyond the Beach ehich does very good work. I have seen his wife on Facebook now and then. Really sorry to hear this news.
May he rest in peace. This Whuflu is killing a lot of very good people...

Don & Olive were very good friends of mine,
Olive was President of Beyond the Beach Children's Foundation, I was a founding director.
And spent many hours raising funds for the Children of the Dominican Republic.
We met many time for breakfast halfway between our house in Canada.
Some of Don's ashes will be spread on the beach in Costambar inJanuary.
Olive is doing fine, she is one strong Lady.
