Referencia Laboratorio Clinico (RLC) announced the opening of what it calls the most modern facility of its kind, the Molecular and Anatomical Pathology Lab. RLC has 80 service centers nationwide.
Minister of Public Health Victor Atallah Lajam and the executive director of the National Health Service (SNS) Mario Lama joined the president of Referencia, Patricia Leon for the presentation at the Hotel Embajador.
The new lab has accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This ensures that Dominican patients will have access to diagnostic services on par with those in more developed healthcare systems and positions RLC as a regional leader in detection and monitoring of complex diseases.
