DR1 keeps asking me if I'm a robot

The last few days I've been unable to access DR1. I get a stack path website that asks me if I'm a robot. It will take me dozens of attempts to type the characters into the box. Even though the characters are clearly displayed, it says it's incorrect when I type them in the box.

Anyone else having this issue?

It keeps asking me but I just type the characters and it lets me in. You must make sure you do the uppercase / lowercase correctly.

I found even though they have spaces between letters and/or numbers, it works to eliminate the spaces.

Careful...

"Ha ha," lets all laugh when this thing says it will destroy humans. Afterall, it's a joke. 👀

DR1 is simply ahead of the game. So, are you a robot? lol

It seems to be a Safari issue. Tried dozens of times with the saem results. As soon as I tried Chrome, it worked first attempt.

I've had it ask me like this a couple of times. It is not case sensitive and I never tried to insert spaces and have had no issues.

the only problem with it is it does it like 3 times in a ROW...
not every day , but it is somewhat annoying ..
Once should be enough . Something needs tweaking .

I just find it very, very slow sometimes...... no robot requests though
It is slow. I was in Las Terrenas two months and almost stopped looking at dr1 because of slow internet. Now I am visiting in SD and can use it.

It has never asked me to verify that I’m not a robot on this site. Fast speeds also, except during peak hours when half the population is online. My device of choice is iPhone. Toggles automatically between 3 & 4 G. Basic claro web service. My pc is collecting dust in the closet.

Sometimes these verifications are triggered by an IP address change. DR1 records the IP address you last logged in from. If you are using a VPN and use different servers this can prompt the site to verify the new address is not a rotating bot address. Even without a VPN your ISP may from time to time assign you a new IP. Also it is not uncommon for VPN IP address ranges to be logged by spam tracking sites due to some misbehavior by another user of that VPN. If your current IP is on such a list that is checked frequently, that too can prompt extra verification steps. Data content sites like Cloudfare which I believe DR1 uses is notorious for this type of behavior. I can't say with certainty why this is happening to some users but the above is a possible explanation.

This is beyond annoying, I am not interested in this site.
Could be worse as a friend of mine has been banned from DR1 due to no fault of his own after the website make over. He can't even contact DR1 since he got banned and nobody answers me when I contact them on his behalf.
