DR1 News to skip Wednesday update

DR1 News will not be updated on Wednesday, 31 August 2024. The news will be compiled for the Thursday, 1 August edition. Dolores Vicioso, editor of DR1 News, will be off for medical leave on Wednesday. She is undergoing cataract surgery for a second eye and believes it prudent to let the first successfully operated eye synchronize with the second one.

DR1 News updates can always be posted by the community on the DR1 Forums 24/7.

Thank you for your well wishes. As you can see, was able to work on the news only a day after the operation of my second eye. But it was good that I took off the first 24 hours.

I am now looking forward to life as a bionic woman!
