She was probably right on that particular strain of the virus. Viruses know no boundaries and they don't watch TV or listen to talking heads that think they know everything.
No not correct. Just his opinion.
This fourth or 5th variant is weaker but is a lot more contagious than its predecessors and didn't get the memo about vaccines. I am still convinced that vaccines work. By the time we get to the 20th or 30th variant maybe the powers that be will just let it run it's course.
The CDC , so far is monitoring 10 variants with Delta and Omicron being the "ones of concern".

The key to "herd imunity" is that even if the one becomes infected there are too few suspectible hosts to maintain transmission.

I am over it. There is no herd immunity that is going to happen regarding CV19 and its variants.
