Here is how it works.
If you have anything to give away, please post It HERE!
If you need something, post it Here!
All items must be FREE, No Exceptions.
Please post a VERY brief description of what you have to give away, or of what you need.
State where the item/s are located,ie., North Coast, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Juan Dolio, and the like.
All items must be picked up at the place the owner specifies.
If you see something you want, please contact the owner by DR1's "Private Mail".
Your negociations should there after be by "PM" or telephone, if both agree.
No tel.#s should be given in the open On Line.
If the owner wishes to email his tel/cell # to you in a "PM" that's their call.
All items are to be, "First Come, First Take".
I would suggest that the owner make that very clear to all interested parties.
If an item has been taken, please post that the item is no longer available.

I "had" two iron battery racks for invertor batteries.
My father-in-law sold them for a few pesos, as Scrap!
I'm looking for something else to post.
The "SWAP" has the additional benefit of letting you meet other DR1er's.

There is a nice prize for the first completed transaction!

"DR1 FREECYCLE" is a good name. Could it be piloted as a sub-forum with a clearly identified list of rules (many already stated)?

We’ve had this thread for almost 10 years, not used very often these days. I don’t think it warrants its own forum at this point. Maybe if people actually start using it!!!!

But I'm a regular user and I've never seen this thread! "Out of sight, out of mind." If a sub-forum were piloted, that problem would be solved.
If, after that, there was no traffic, then "no harm, no foul," just deprecate it to its orginal location.
