I flew in from Madrid yesterday it took me 10 min to go through immigration. Fifty++ people in front of me didn't have the e-ticket were turned back to fill in the paperform. I never had any issues with this "e-ticket". I do it on a laptop or desktop and print a pdf file I email to myself and pick up on my phone (in case someone want to scan it). I suggest Aduana do the same with the custom form. Get rid of all paper docs.
When I filled out an E-Ticket for a friend of mine, all the customs questions were part of the E-Ticket. He. and several others here, said that customs just asked to see the E-Ticket code - no additional paper customs form needed(?).

I don't see the Citizens/Residents special kiosk any more at the airports...

All just one big line.... the auto kiosk booths may have replaced

Why would that be so impossible? I'm guessing that, now, the Russian airlines are providing those forms in Russian(?). Isn't it just a matter of having the E-Ticket available in Russian?
Oh it sounds so simple to have it in Russian, Sure that would work out well..............

Leaving PUJ there is a separate line that is much smaller for people with Dominican passports. None entering though.

The government website says it's mandatory, but reports are saying the forms are still available at the airports.
Forms will exist until sept 1st. This is the resolution sent to all airlines telling they have to make sure and certify that every body has the e-ticket before boarding.

Where you denied boarding, or anyone else you know about for not having the E Ticket? And I am ONLY interested in actually denied, not told, but DENIED.......................
I don't think anyone is denying that at present you can use either the E-Ticket or the paper form, but from Riva_31's post above it looks like that might change from September 1st.

No chance........................
I tend to agree, but if they insist on the implementation imagine the mess they're going to have at the airport when they do.

This would destroy tourism for the DR. What about all the people coming here with no E Ticket. Imagine the bad publicity that would bring. The DR has no plans to implement this as mandatory to travel in and out. It is used solely to speed up the process, and that it does...............................

The posted resolution by the JAC clearly says it does.

My guess is that they will have to figure out how to get an E-Ticket.

I could be wrong. Someone did say it was mandatory to have an E-Ticket somewhere along the line. But maybe not ever. Time will tell.
I certainly can't predict the future as well as you.

Well, some people think they have a crystal ball, but I think it's broken. lol

Soon enough a very dark cloud will cover the sky. Everyone should have an umbrella nearby.

We will find out September 1. Anyone want to gamble on the outcome????????????
Deadlines come and go. Sooner or later, everyone will know. I can see airlines posting a link to the E-Ticket saying it's required. Maybe immigration will install an electronic kiosk to fill out the E-Ticket for those that arrive without one(?). One way or another, it will have to be filled out.

Some these posts regarding the e ticket are comical in a way because what I have seen is; the only people having trouble at the airport ARE THOSE THAT ARE FILLING OUT PAPER AND DON'T HAVE IT (THE E-TICKET) ON THEIR PHONE.

Until I spoke to a 'person' and said I had the e-ticket.... I could NOT get a boarding pass

Yes - I was denied online for not uploading my form
