Well when you will save on printing more than 42 millions forms you will force do make ppl to fill it, in 2019 airports moved 14 millions pax, Today No delays on the flights and people with problems were those filling last minutes. Im sure for tomorrow will be less the problem with people do not have it. I will like to know what happened with flights coming to DR today.
I don't know what you are looking at when you say No Delays. PUJ had multiple delays in takeoffs, some more than 2 hours.....................

And if you bothered to watch the late news here you would have heard a lot more from angry passengers.....................

They cannot even start the banning of people going into the DR. When that starts along with what happens in the DR it will be the end of this real soon......................I give it less than a week, probably even less................
Is there going to be even more crow eaten by you in less than a week?

I guess those angry passengers should have filled out an E-Ticket. No shock to me that there were some people who thought the E-Ticket would "never" replace paper forms.

You just don't get it sitting in your living room. Even if you have the E Ticket you are in the same line as the ones that do not. "Be happy what you wish for" and get to the airport with your E Ticket 4 or more hours before your flight........................

At POP, there are women at the start of line to have you sign the "I didn't cheat' form about your health results and you show them your test results.
That speeds the line up.
I also tell them I have my e-ticket - they bump me to the front of the line

What I do get is that the government made September 1 the firm date that paper forms went away and the E-Ticket was required.
It is you who did not get the above.

Were there going to be problems with that change? Of course.

Will the government go back to paper forms as you suggest because of people being denied boarding and the long lines I cannot see from my living room?
I am going with a hard NO on that. And you?

Did you eat your crow yet?

So if I was not in my living room, but rather at the airport to take a flight, I could also go to the head of the line with my E-Ticket and avoid the hours of waiting SKY says I would have to endure? Could SKY be wrong yet again?

Is there a time requirement to fill it out....i.e....must be filled out no sooner than 48 hours before the flight? I usually have flights booked well in advance of departure.

Two lines, one from a movie and another from a commercial, come to mind here

E-ticket. We don't need no stinking e-ticket.

Crow {Beef}........Its whats for dinner.

Carry on.

They will always check all sectors when you board the first flight on the ticket, because once you are airside you can remain airside for the duration of your journey, so no further chance to check anything.

Interesting that he was nearly denied boarding for not completing online. I did notice that a lot of people on the video that NALS posted were given a paper form to complete, so I wonder if there is a Plan B system in operation involving a form?
For today all will more normalized, im pretty sure, was yesterday in all news and now people know, 2 friends asked me to send them the link for e-ticket as they have relatives flying in DR.

Yes, all angry for Jetbue delays not because e-tickets, Jetblue has records and is the airline with more flights and pax transported here.

all angry people was in the moon and didnt read in the confirmation booking e-mail that was necesary to fill the e-ticket to fly in and out, All airlines sent that information with the confirmation.

People that read it knew and filled the form not 1 hour before their flight didnt have any problem.

I’d also like to know about this time requirement as I filled it out late last night. Our Friday morning flight leaves Saturday for the DR. Toronto layover.

OK, so as I said, long lines at check-in, but they didn't close the flights on time and worked their way through all the pax.

At SDQ on the Iberia check-in they have someone on the entrance to the check in who asks to see your boarding pass and the form that Iberia tells you to print saying that your paperwork is in order (which you have to complete the e-ticket to get). If you can't show these, you can't proceed to check-in. No chance to block a counter. I believe it's the same for American Airlines. They also filter premium passengers into different lines.

I just don't buy this idea that if some passengers haven't got the correct paperwork, the check-in agents are going to let them stand at the counter forever. They will tell them to do whatever it is they need to do and move on to the next passenger.

At POP there was always someone to check your passport and boarding pass before you got in line. Pretty easy to add the E-Ticket and avoid any of the people w/o one from even getting in line.

I think you'll see this situation fix itself pretty quickly.

The malcontents that we hear here are not a majority...
A majority want their flight to go smoothly..... in & out.

Many of us (me incl) like the lack of governance we enjoy here...
but not at the expense of disrupting my travel....at least for me !!
The rest can have at it !!

Smoother , faster travel w/ the electronic method
