thanks, I'll give it a closer look next trip.It takes me about 4 clicks but I eventually get a screen where I list my address in the campo. Until I scrutinized my Edesur bill years back, we didn’t even know we had an address 😂
I always use my last eticket to make the new one so a lot info its already there, only need to update the info for new flightthanks, I'll give it a closer look next trip.
This. Look up the 6 character code of the last one and make the changes.I always use my last eticket to make the new one so a lot info its already there, only need to update the info for new flight
I don't know what has changed, but we came in via PUJ on Sunday afternoon, and nobody from customs even wanted to know about us. We had the e-ticket ready and all, and some people were made to queue to the x-ray machine, we looked at the customs guy, he just waved us through, ignoring the e-ticket and all. Only person interested in our e-ticket was the TUI Fly Check-in leaving Amsterdam. Usually customs has scanned the QR codes upon arrival, but not this time.Same for me when entering STI.
They always scan the QR Code.
At the end of the day it's still the Dominican Republic, lol.We had the e-ticket ready and all, and some people were made to queue to the x-ray machine, we looked at the customs guy, he just waved us through, ignoring the e-ticket and all.

In theory, if you boarded the plane, you already had your E-Ticket verified. So there is that.At the end of the day it's still the Dominican Republic, lol.
The only problem I have with the eticket is "where I'm staying". I scroll through all the acceptables and don't find my lodging listed. I've always just picked one that's listed and gotten through but shouldn't there be a "other" or a space where you can actually input your lodging?

There was a Resolution sent to all airlines flying into DR that was totally prohibited to board without the eticket form completed. In Bogota before boarding they announce that people without eticket can not board the flight.I don't know what has changed, but we came in via PUJ on Sunday afternoon, and nobody from customs even wanted to know about us. That’s most likely the case given that filling out the eticket means including your name, your passport id number, your flight… Whether or not the eticket is filled probably appears every time they see your info in the computer. In theory, if you boarded the plane, you already had your E-Ticket verified. So there is that.
But hey, tomorrow they might be scanning everyone again.
Well, there you have it. There should be no need to check on arrival. The E-Ticket, since it is "E" is already in the system. There was a Resolution sent to all airlines flying into DR that was totally prohibited to board without the eticket form completed. Thanks, I'm aware of this, but as a fact, regardless of this, we have had to let them scan the QR upon arrival in the past. As mentioned, the airline was very strict of the e-ticket on check-in and wanted to see it. They were first confused though as I showed them just one e-ticket-and asked where the ticket for the 3 others. I pointed out kindly that please see the other names written on the lower part of the ticket. They were satisfied and proceeded quickly. There was a Resolution sent to all airlines flying into DR that was totally prohibited to board without the eticket form completed. Bought my first cell phone a few years ago when it became almost impossible to fly without one. Still almost impossible to fly with one since I don't exactly know how to use a cell phone. They are great for telling the time though.Over the years I remain in amazement over the complexity of modern flight. That, and withdrawing money from an ATM.
True indeed.Over the years I remain in amazement over the complexity of modern flight. That, and withdrawing money from an ATM.
You and I both got smart phones for such reasons. Had to have one or things became virtually impossible. I get mine as hand me downs from my wife when she upgrades.Bought my first cell phone a few years ago when it became almost impossible to fly without one.
