From a recent Edenorte notice - better late then never...

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Edenorte technicians will be performing preventive maintenance actions in the substation of Sabaneta de Yásica, which will affect the Energy service of SABY101 and SABY102 circuits. So there will not be any power during that lapse the towns of: Sabaneta de Yásica, Villa Progreso, La Piña, Islabón, Veragua, Batey Ginebra, La Catalina, Costa Barrosa, Los Brazos, Jamao Al North, Cold Creek, Broken Palo, Cold Fig, Cat River, The Maobas, Yellow Stick, Saladillo, Sing the Frog, Gaspar Hernandez and Joba Up.

Electricity has been on and off here on the east side of Cabarete every day for at least the past week. Went off last night and again this morning.

Electricity off here right now at my home which is SABY102 circuit in Sabaneta district. Are others off too as I cannot see any other properties from here?

Power off on CABT102 in Cabarete for about 10 minutes so far.

Power went off on SOSU101 in the past 15 -20 minutes or so. No maintenance scheduled for today but that doesn't seem to matter these days. Charge more deliver less...

not yet in el batey . problem is , no water either. dark is falling, laptops batteries shutting down, unwashed dishes piling up = ants coming ..., , hot/humid , cold beer from local store is not cold anymore ...

related to more and more frequent power outage = water shut down , in POP area ...

as alternative to ordering everything from amazon etc and/or parcels forwarding from usa,

any store / suppliers here in DR for those ad hoc , manual handle rotating 'generators' to provide at least usb and flash light, or stationary-bike like 'generators' to get at least few 100's W output ?

Edenorte absolutely sucked last night with power going off and on like an Xmas tree light.
They are getting much less competent again.

I agree. Same here. It must have gone on-and-off at least 4-5 times in a two hour period Starting around 10:30pm or so. Plus, it was off at least once or twice during the day. Sure glad I don't have an electric car.

Has there been a growth spurt in the area in question?
Perhaps the infrastructure needs a boost....
