EDENorte North Coast: Electricity Outages & Restoration Announcements
Power was off for me most of the night. Came back on about 07:55. Hope it is on long enough to recharge the batteries. I am expecting another cut or two today and possibly more tomorrow. Since these are unscheduled outages, one just has to expect them and be prepared to lose power again at any time. Time to charge everything that needs it.

CABT102 is not on the list for today and this week onward, but at the very moment I downloaded the file above for power outages this week, power went out at 8:23 AM

Power is still on here as far as I know (Sosu101) It would be nothing short of an outrage and a tease to turn it back off after only 30 minutes.

A better link to the power outage schedule for this week...
You can report your power outages at this link. Sometimes you get lucky and get an email explaining the nature of the problem but not always. If you do report your outage at least you have peace of mind knowing that someone somewhere knows there is an outage and they will dispatch a repair crew if the outage is not intentional. You need some details from your electricity bill to complete the online form.

The above link to Edenorte should work. The other link was a local link, sorry about that. Keep in mind CABT102 is not on the schedule, yet we were just told power would be on and off for the next day as they do installations.
That is the one I downloaded just as power went out for CABT102 and has not returned, despite not being on that very same scheduled blackout list. I guess they left out that little detail.
Looks like it is our turn again. Power went out for me around 3 pm in eastern Sosua. Is the juice back on for those in Cabarete and elsewhere that had it turned off this morning?
Same here. Don't know whether to be pleasantly surprised or to take it as a set up for imminent disappointment. Fingers crossed that we can get from now through the night.
Power on for a short while list night but off about 4:30 AM while improvements/repairs are made. 3 to 4 hours of power was provided overnight. Power might come on in different areas at different times today. Seems random rather than to any schedule they post.
Supposedly this work will be finished today, Sunday, but knowing how good Edenorte is with scheduling it could run into Monday or Tuesday very easily.

I know this is a northern thread only, but we have the same thing in Boca Chica and I believe elsewhere.
The randomly occurring maintenance blackouts coupled with regular everyday equipment failures makes for lots of uncertainty. A loud boom this morning in my neighborhood. A transformer or power line fuse blew I suppose. Power went out for a moment but then came back on for me. Others in the area are now dark again. Not sure what time the power came back on last night but it went out for me around 10:15 pm and was back on when the dogs woke me up barking at something at 03:00. Stayed on the rest of the night. I am expecting more rotating blackouts today and a regular service cut for them to repair the current equipment failure in the area.
