Power was restored on CABT102 about 30 minutes ago. Hopefully all is back on for the north coast.

Power out in Perla Marina SOSU101 at 18:35 . Quite a violent change over too.

Just went out in Camino Llibre again. 3 big bangs around 430pm and it went out. Came back on around 630pm and now 2 more big bangs and out it goes again.

Perhaps you should call them and ask for more "maintenance" which never seems to be in the right place to help.

Maint. sched 12-6pm today in Moca, Nagua and Don Pedro (Santiago). Nothing else has been announced. Take that for what it is worth.

Power off in all of Cabarete according to Edenorte, about 9:45 AM, after an explosion was heard in the distance. They are working on it and there is no report number.

Must be because they missed something during the last maintenance.

A telephone pole near Perla Marina is burning according to a neighbor of mine that just drove past the area. Might be a while before Cabarete has power again today.

Power went on and off at least 5 times tonight in the space of less than two hours here in Cabarete - every time there was a rain shower. This power grid is shot.

We had that issue in our development for several years. A crew finally found the actual problem and fixed it while others up until then just replaced the fuse and it would blow again. The torrents last night did not cause a problem for us. Sounds like your area has a similar issue that needs someone to find the actual source of the issue and not just replace fuses each time it blows.

Imagine how much worse it would be if they didn't do all the "maintenance" - I say that facetiously.

I don't know what the problem was here, but I don't think it was fuses though(?). The power went on and off too many times in a short period of time. The power went out again a couple more times after I posted. About 6-7 outages within two hours time.
