Reading this , El Niño seems to produce nothing of benefit - warmer oceans, hotter weather, more wind shear-

And it has started already
Buckle up !!
The warmer Oceans produced by El Niño are over the Eastern Pacific, so no worries for the Caribbean on that point.
It is producing Higher Wind Shear over the Caribbean, which is a good thing for us, as that bothers storm development over the Caribbean.
It also produces over the Caribbean hotter and dry weather, which is the big negative for DR, as we can await a record drought summer this 2023, something with significant consecuences for the country's agriculture and cattle ranchers.

Predicting weather is like predicting what a woman thinks and how she will react.
You are almost always wrong and it's prone to unexpected outbursts and tantrums.
Could weather be hormonal too ?

The Dominican weather is like a woman in menopaus. Hot flashes and unpredictable.
(My wife is 44, so I am preparing and investigating).

Indeed it has.
I'm all strapped in and ready to ride.
Here's a great article highlighting some of the ways we can prepare for the warming.
