I was at JUMBO the other day and noticed they have a new brand of English Muffins. There are two varieties- plain and sourdough.

They had Thomas's brand for a long time, then stopped, then brought some gluten free ones that were not very good.

The new ones are LIDER brand (The in-house brand for the chain) and are almost as good as the Thompson's brand.

Breakstone cottage cheese availability is still very iffy.

I agree 100%. But when supermarkets give you lemons, make lemonade.

I long ago gave up the battle of filling out suggestion slips at any supermarket.

Absolutely. Like you, I was born and bred in England and never had a muffin there.

All the major supermarkets carry them. Most under the name "English muffin" but I've also seen them called "Breakfast muffin."

No, most are found in the bread aisle. There is one brand that likes to sell theirs refrigerated, but they claim its to preserve their freshness.

Super Pola USED to carry them,there are a couple of women on the "Everything" Facecrack groups that make them and offer them for sale but to my knowledge they are not available in any store in Sosua,I've looked as it is something that I miss from my home country.

These are the English Muffins you want. Nacional had them in the frozen section many years ago. No more.
