Victor's cambio Puerto Plata this morning: US$ 35.35, Euro 44.5, CDN$ 29, ? 48, Swiss Franc 28.

Anyone else want to contribute to this thread, say cambio rates for these currencies from Sosua, Cabarete, Punta Cana, SD etc? The differences might be interesting.

The peso is pegged to the Chiclet, there is an arb opportunity going long Halls and short Chiclets with BC interest rates coming in.
I think the thread would be more useful if cambios other than Victor's were covered, viz. locations other than Puerto Plata. There must be some altruistic residents who could do this from time to time?
I'd go long on the Himalayan Yeti, Tambo. They're going to double up for diputados in the new enlarged Chamber of Deputies under the new constitution. In the meanwhile they're going to put the first batch they trained to replace all the corrupt cops arrested in PP.

Yes FernieBee, Victor's was better than the PP bank last Friday. williams45 see my last Friday post - Victor's bettered the bank by RS$1 on the Canadian dollar. Not surprising, the cambios usually do. But today on US$ Sosua is beating PP.
