I don't mean to take away from the performance level of this car, but any modern (2008-2013) 1000cc sports bike will out accelerate this Ferrari. Nearly all modern 1000cc sports bikes will accelerate from 0-62MPH (100km) in under 3 seconds. I posted a video of me accelerating that fast on YouTube--coming out of a Shell gas station in Santiago and doing a Cannonball run to Puerto Plata with two other motorcyclists in under 38 minutes.

So, save your money, don't buy a Ferrari if you want this kind of acceleration, buy a modern 1000cc sports bike. It will out accelerate anything accept a Formula 1 race car. You would have to spend upwards of US $150,000 to get anything close the velocity level of a modern 1000cc sports bike. True fact.

They don't do well in the rain though. But it's a small inconvenience for the violent acceleration and rush that you get for U.S $10,000.

There is no bigger bang for your buck then a motorcycle. Period.

In fact Ferraris' performance are usually lower compared to other so-called supercars. But they keep that aura of "can't touch this" that people like.

It seems that the driver was doing a "Wheely" at the time, as he looked back over his shoulder to see who was watching!!!!!

Sure, as long as you dont value your organs. lol ;)

Only problem with a motorcycle is you are the motorcycles airbag. Motorcycles are impressive beautiful machines but way too much risk of injury when you come in contact with another vehicle or an immovable object.

In 16+ yrs here ive had 4 or 5 fender benders that were no fault of my own but if I was on a motorcycle, each one of them could of been fatal.

Lots of farraris in santo domingo, usually being lynched onto a flatbed after snapping the front end on a few intersections, which are all too deep for super cars.
My guess he was doing 40mph and tried to take on a T-junction without slowing to a standstill before completing.

Didn't something similar to this happen a couple of years back? A rich Dominican kid in a Ferrari?
