Finally - Rain

We have been dry - really dry - here in Cabrera for weeks

Not a tropical deluge - but PLENTY coming down now

My bamboo had been changing color...........less green

And cool all day . not much sun...............PERFECT !!!

Although very dry weather was needed here for the start of my new little house, I am now relieved to have some rain to cool things down a bit but not appreciated by the dogs who all hate rain and the sound of thunder.

I have one dog PETRIFIED of the thunder/lightning......jumps thru screens to get in

We have been watering the "garden" by hand for the past 5 weeks. Garden is about 3000 square feet. . Gave me (and Haitian helper) a chance to do some planting. Perfect weather since seedlings were just about ready. Planted about 50 red pepper plants, 30 beef steak tomatoes, 20 plum and 30 batata sprouts. Great day.
