Danilo has already said:
1. He didn't know his brother had contracts with the govt. and
2. He told his brother not to have any contracts with the govt. *Ahem*

Hmmmm......

Alexis Medina was the "Octopus" with tentacles of corruption in various institutions

  • According to investigations, their companies were favored with millionaire amounts of illicit purchases
Alexis Medina was the "Octopus" that had tentacles in multiple institutions and that led the Special Prosecutor for the Persecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca) to carry out the operation early Sunday morning to apprehend people who were part of the network of the former president's brother Danilo Medina.

According to sources, that was the reason why he called "Operation Antipulpo" the series of raids last Sunday in which at least ten people were arrested, including former officials and front men who allegedly benefited Alexis Medina.

According to documents from the process, the former Minister of Health, Freddy Hidalgo, the former Comptroller General of the Republic, Rafael Germosén Andújar, and other investigated officials, allegedly benefited Alexis Medina's companies through illegal purchases made in Public Health.

The investigations also indicate that in the aforementioned processes, payments for RD $ 70,347,905 were released in favor of the company Domedical Supply SRL and RD $ 129,777,956.20 to General Medical Solution. These two companies allegedly belong to Alexis Medina.

It's like too big to fail. He is too high up to indict or jail.

Same thing in the USA. Look at bubba and the hildabeast.
naaa, here i disagree.
in such we are def not anything USA like.
here they would not spare a big shot just becasue it would shed a bad light on the country over all.
and good so, because imho such would bring DR in a positive light internationally, too.
