Taxi drivers and hotels pay exorbitante license and registration fees.
Uber and Airbnb should be required to pay the same fees as they are both providing the exact same services.
For hotels the registration is not particularly expensive. And it appears reasonably simple but obviously Dominicans have a way of making simple things very very complicated, so it is painful.
