Full medical coverage for armed forces members

The Presidency has ordered 100% medical coverage for armed forces members and their direct dependents through the Senasa government health plans, announced Defense Minister Lieutenant General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, ERD. He said the measure guarantees health services for the military families and is a major relief for the economy of the soldiers.

The announcement comes at a time when the Dominican government is stepping up security given the critical situation in Haiti.
