No pics, I'm sorry, but we saw something Sunday coming back from Santiago on Ave. Hispanamericana: a funeral procession for a concho driver.

There was a retro fitted Astrovan made into a hearse, right down to the back half being covered with vinyl...the whole back half, not just the top...and big fake landau bars, followed by 20-30 motoconchos followed by 20 concho's stuffed with sad faced people.

Only in the DR...:cheeky:

Got to love this one from El Nacional. A gasoline truck flipped over and spilling; what a better idea then to get your container and fill up for free! Only in DR!

Fortunately it was Diesel no so flammable like gasoline.
You can throw a burning cigarette or a math in a Diesel container and it will cut off...

I don't know how I didn't have an accident on my way back home from Puerto Plata when delivering tourist in those early STI Jet Bue flights...
I did fall asleep many times, I think my minivan already knows the route.:eek:
