Oh okay, it looked like a spot I know in Playa Guancaynes near Juan Dolio. I have never been to Sosua but have heard many great things about it and how beautiful it is with whales swimming and such. How far is Sosua from the capital???

You're confusing Sosua with Saman? - Sosua is about 3-4 hrs from the capital via Santiago, Samana is about 2.5 hours drive from Santo Domingo on the new highway (used to be 4).

Oh yea Chirimoya your right, sorry got them mixed up. I have never been on the North end before but am dying to go visit. I have been like 20 times to Santo Domingo, Bani-5 times, Santiago-1 time, Constanza-2 times, Palmar De Ocoa-3 times, Guaycanes Playa-6 times, Juan Dolio-6-7 times, San Pedro and San Cristobal-1 time each, Bonao-1 time but am dying to go to Puerto Plata, Sosua, Samana, Punta Cana as I have never been there. Is it like Florida with lots of tourist and such?? Everytime we go to Santo Domingo to visit family and friends, I can't get anybody to take me because everybody complains its too far!!! lol lol Maybe i'll just rent a car and go myself and hopefully I don't get lost!! lol lol

lol lol these are great. The funniest thing I ever saw in D.R. was a guy driving a buggie with a horse and the horse had a presidente beer box over it's eyes! I wished I had a camera at the time.
