you say you have all wiring in place already.
what is the particular problem, where do they fail?
what we use here are 2 kinds.
the older ones/still most of 'em,
are normally wired throughout the Residency, the used lamps look like street lamps,
mounted on half height of the tall Palmtrees.
to fix the wiring from the ground to the location of the lamps, we use simple cramps.
the newer lamps are solar lamps.
they come each with a small solar panel, so no wiring required, and they have a motion sensor included,
so they go on when someone passes by and go out a couple minutes later.
the sensibility of the motion sensors and on-time can be adjusted.
a friend ordered them for us on Amazon, they been less than $50.- each Kit with the shipping.

ww,
just to add to above.
to let them last longer, specially as we are right on a beach where the salty wet eats everything away quickly,
we extra-seal the new equipments with 5200 Marine Silicone.
to date never had a lamp getting wet inside.

these are in ground and have failed too many times...
water logged, transformers blow....

A million excuses.....

I may go solar , stick-in-the-ground type
Not as strong but cheaper

I finally gave up this year. My last effort was 2000 led lights in a sealed clear plastic rope. They lasted about 8 months. I think my running total for garden/ christmas lights is around 14,000 lights in 8 years. I have tried every brand and type possible. All but about 500 where bought in Canada or ordered from the US. They all had warranties but I threw out the packaging so returning them is difficult.
I'm pretty sure if I show up with one more string of lights my wife will lynch me with it

Good luck. I saw American in Bavaro had rope lights. It was about 200USD for 90 ft. Double what I pay in Canada.

I had all solar lights in the garden, both the pathway ones on sticks and rope ones around the palm trees. They were cheap, from Amazon and lasted for ages.

I'm only 60 meters (200ft) from the ocean with a breeze. Not much of anything lasts here

Write this down , you watching people...... here in Residency Forum

As much as you think you'll go 'beachside'.........
All your electronics will die more quickly, everything will rust/disintegrate more quickly.... it's a long list

Pretty, but deadly........... life at the ocean's edge

Its a lot of work keeping things working here. To us the view and location is worth it. We looked at a lot of property before we bought this and the question we kept asking ourselves was why move to an island and not be on the beach?
Even with the added expense and work we love it.

Take a look at us on the north coast....

we get the ocean view from 100M up and 1/2 km removed...

IMO........ best of both worlds

YUP, we still deteriorate... but more slowly.........

We looked in Hispanola Villas. Loved the view but walking out the door to the beach won out. Plus at the time flights from Western Canada to PC were much more available. Now not so much
