Why would the US need to extradite him? Makes no sense at all..Incorrect . the US has an agreement with the DR ..
Its already been discussed and researched .. If they ask for him, the DR will gladly comply. Its not a problem to ship him back
Agreed. The public ministry has the entire legal right to place Riibe under preventative custody (as member SKY had previously mentioned re Dominican law), if and only needing an if, foul play is even suspected with minimal circumstantial evidence. This can be any period of time determined by a judge up to 18 months with a case review every three months.
I wouldn't give much credence to these time stamps. There is a Security Video of both of them at Coco bongo .. with him just outside , bent over, you can see that T Shirt of his, and he is throwing up.
Whats strange is the video is time Stamped 5:56 AM ..
In my opinion this demonstrates that they are amateur drinkers. They binged without consideration of consequences. Also FWIW, here's the video of both of them in the bar at the resort puking their guts out before they went to the beach:
Shouldn't bars be held responsible for the safety and well being of their guests?
Likely way to drunk to kill someone (unless driving drunk). And who would stay at the scene of the crime for 4-5 hours? He was hammered and slept on a beach chair until 10:00 AM.Also FWIW, here's the video of both of them in the bar at the resort puking their guts out before they went to the beach:

Yep it's really sad. I hope her family comes through this intact. My kids had the opportunity to mature and learn and use their assets to be successful. This young woman was to be a doctor the man was also in the university studying to be something.
Sad that their bad decisions will not give them the opportunity the were working towards.
Kids today grow up in a world very different from the one we grew up in. They‘re saturated with technology that keeps a lot of them detached from the reality of life and the consequences of their actions. Many are constantly in the pursuit of instant gratification. My kids had the opportunity to mature and learn and use their assets to be successful. This young woman was to be a doctor the man was also in the university studying to be something.

My man KM, this family is destroyed! While I don't live at the foot of the cross this young bloke will never be the same either.Yep it's really sad. I hope her family comes through this intact.
My gut will never not tell me that an innocent man would, after that dramatic wave and rescue story he recanted where he didn't remember when he woke up nor think about the girl, walk to his room and not go directly to the front desk to report the incident. No amount of drug, alcohol or magic fairy dust would let me pass right by the front desk and sleep it off.My man KM, this family is destroyed! The fact that the AG personally interviewed him speaks to how high the stakes have become. My gut will never not tell me that an innocent man would, after that dramatic wave and rescue story he recanted where he didn't remember when he woke up nor think about the girl, walk to his room and not go directly to the front desk to report the incident. I'd like to see her with some cojones and remand the kid to at least 3 months pending investigation if solely based on his multiple storylines and highly suspicious act of not reporting the incident to the front desk and decision to sleep off the day. If YBR lets him go it will be a real slap in the face to the family whose daughter has yet to reappear. Again just my take. Innocent people tell one story and report drownings or even possible drownings immediately. The fact that the AG personally interviewed him speaks to how high the stakes have become.
This Right here above ...My gut will never not tell me that an innocent man would, after that dramatic wave and rescue story he recanted where he didn't remember when he woke up nor think about the girl, walk to his room and not go directly to the front desk to report the incident. And I can guarantee that the adrenaline rush from trying to save yourself and another from drowning, no matter what drug or how much you've drank, even if you'd been on a one week bender, would wake your stoned a** up faster than a 10mg bolus of epinephrine. This Right here above ...
Plus I find it Hard to believe that when he woke up on the beach he did not see her Clothes still there ? , he thought this was perfectly normal and she just walked off .. without her Clothes ?
No matter how hungover you are., these are not the Actions of a Sane, normal person to just casually go back to the Room without even a care .
Then Add the fact that his Clothes and shoes are missing , and it just gets even thicker .
He has a lot of red flags from his actions, no doubt. Whatever decision she makes will not please everyone, but she has to make the best decision for the family, justice and the DR.I'd like to see her with some cojones and remand the kid to at least 3 months pending investigation if solely based on his multiple storylines and highly suspicious act of not reporting the incident to the front desk and decision to sleep off the day. He didn't witness an incident to report. You people have gone full blown Duke Lacrosse from 20 years ago.My gut will never not tell me that an innocent man would, after that dramatic wave and rescue story he recanted where he didn't remember when he woke up nor think about the girl, walk to his room and not go directly to the front desk to report the incident.
