Likely way to drunk to kill someone (unless driving drunk). And who would stay at the scene of the crime for 4-5 hours? He was hammered and slept on a beach chair until 10:00 AM.
I was under the impression that she never drank because of her family roots. If it was posted here it must be true.......................

He didn't witness an incident to report. You people have gone full blown Duke Lacrosse from 20 years ago.
My thought exactly...report what? If he were to report a big wave, all the hotel would do is nicely call him an idiot for going in the water at that hour. As far as the young lady, I think he assumed she was okay, as did her friends apparently, based on the length of time before they raised her disappearance with the hotel (in the afternoon if I recall correctly). We don't know where exactly she left her clothes (again, was it just her bikini cover-up or everything?) so it may not have been obvious to him it was still there when he woke up. So again, in his mind, he may not have had reason for concern and to report anything at that time.

https://dominicantoday.com/dr/touri...rsions-of-the-case-of-sudiksha-pass-the-buck/ For the most part, this article says nothing new. I do find the last part interesting though. The mini-headline Missing, she made two money transactions is very misleading...she was not missing at that time. And since DominicanToday claims to be "The first and only english language online news publication in the Dominican Republic," I can't give them pass and just say it's a poor translation. And why say "The case...took a turn this Friday, when it emerged that Konanki...Chowdary, had made two electronic money transfers, one of a significant amount" when it's obvious those transactions were well before the time she went missing? What turn was taken?

Kids today grow up in a world very different from the one we grew up in. They‘re saturated with technology that keeps a lot of them detached from the reality of life and the consequences of their actions. Many are constantly in the pursuit of instant gratification.
100% agreed. But we conveniently ignore we all have become like that. Over 700 posts in this thread, the majority of these are opinions, assumptions and the use of biased information or AI to prove one’s opinion is the only answer. At this point it almost doesn’t matter anymore what really happened, what matters is we want to make and believe our own truth and anyone that goes against it is the enemy.
No-one here was an eyewitness, still we like to believe to ‘know’ exactly what happend. Many would call that detachment from reality and pursuit of instant gratification.

AI calculated the above is 95% correct. 5% is processing error margin so ignore that. It’s 100%. Lol

Every single thing you said ..
I , and other people feel the exact Polar OPPOSITE is what really happened,
Especially after his Bogus HERO who Saved her Story
If you bothered to read it ? it speaks Volumes . this guy is a Legend in his own mind .

but yes, we are all entitled to our own opinions . until this is solved, if it ever is .

The fact that the AG personally interviewed him speaks to how high the stakes have become.
I agree buy it’s window dressing Jose949. Generated by ever increasing national and international media coverage and the poor PN initial response. Probably ordered by Abinader to give the impression justice is being done. in the DR, things are never as they seem.

There may be some truth to it. Your impression is correct. If she was Muslim, or Hindu for that matter, the consumption of alcohol would have been forbidden and she probably adhered to that when she was in the presence of her family. On her own, a long distance away from her family, partying with a group of her friends with free alcohol readily available, I wouldn’t be so sure. A medical career track is a lot of pressure for any student. She may have used alcohol to relax and vent.

The young man accompanies a "5 2, 120-pound young lady to the beach, admits to saving her from the clutches of death and reports that he almost drowns himself. The last he sees of her she is still in the water. His decision his to sleep it off on the lounge chair and deal with it the next day. As was said here, something stinks. I have committed some rude behavior to woman as a college student, in the service and as a businessman. Never a complete abandonment or a body dump.

Watch the video. She was DEAD DRUNK and could not walk straight. And a hotel video had her drinking before the incident.............

Drinking yes. Dead drunk maybe. Hard to discern how drunk she was from the footage. She was able to converse with people at the bar. The footage shows he was much more intoxicated and was vomiting. Not the best cctv footage.

Have you ever been to that beach? You cannot swim most days at that beach even in the daytime. They put up a red flag and life guards are there to see to it no one goes out past a few feet from shore. Drinking and driving is dangerous, drinking and going into the water here at 5 AM is deadly........................

Anyone that knows her prior back history and who she took on at great political and physical risk, knows she will conduct a thorough examination of the situation and any evidence. Her involvement with this situation likely stems from her prior contacts with and for the FBI in years gone by and their now specific requests on this matter......which likely emanate from some very well connected people in the US......specifically inside the FBI.

Despite the rampant speculation, right now, you only have a missing person ................the rest of the story is yet TBD (too be determined).

No. Been on a lot of beaches in the DR with dangerous swimming conditions but not that beach. I’ve seen red flags and warning signs posted during high wind and wave conditions but very few lifeguards. I’ve seen locals working on the beaches and the tourist police patrolling the beaches warn people about dangerous conditions. No argument from me about the dangers of drinking and going in the water at night. I have no doubt she was drinking. Any amount of alcohol consumption would affect your ability to survive in rough water conditions, more so at night.

Watched it several times. Not clear enough for me to get that impression. She could have been standing by the pillar answering a cell call and went there to get away from the bar noise. She was only there for a few seconds which is why I doubt she was vomiting. Who vomits and goes straight back to the bar to carry on a conversation without cleaning up? No sign of her wiping her mouth. On her way back, she appears to have something like a cell phone in her hand. The footage is not clear enough to confirm what she had in her hand. It definitely proves she was drinking. Beyond that who knows?

Just spitballing here. Back to my betting odds calculator:

Request: Potential Charges under Dominican Law and Corresponding Odds

1. Homicide (Article 95)

Odds: 3:1 (Moderately probable)
Description: This charge involves the intentional killing of another person, potentially encompassing murder or manslaughter. The moderate probability stems from inconsistencies in Riibe’s statements and the family’s suspicion that Konanki did not drown, though the lack of a body or definitive evidence reduces its likelihood at this stage.

2. Kidnapping (Article 101)

Odds: 4:1 (Less probable)
Description: This refers to the illegal detention or abduction of a person against their will. The family has raised kidnapping or human trafficking as possibilities due to the absence of a body despite extensive searches, but without concrete evidence, this charge remains less probable.

3. Sexual Assault/Rape (Article 104)

Odds: 6:1 (Not very likely)
Description: This charge involves non-consensual sexual acts, such as rape. While the isolated beach setting at night theoretically raises this possibility, there is no specific evidence or accusation to support it, making it the least likely charge based on current information.

4. Obstruction of Justice (Article 164)

Odds: 2:1 (Most probable)
Description: This charge applies to actions that hinder the legal process, such as providing false information or refusing to cooperate with an investigation. Riibe’s documented inconsistent statements and lack of cooperation make this the most probable charge at this point.

5. Perjury (Article 165)

Odds: 3:1 (Moderately probable)
Description: This involves lying under oath during legal proceedings. If Riibe provided false statements while under oath, this charge could apply. While it’s unclear if he was under oath, his inconsistent accounts suggest a moderate likelihood, pending further details.

Good info and great she has such prior contacts. At least one can be assured that she will be thorough on this and see it through. The role of the FBI has no doubt been very interesting. There are certainly some connections involved.

True, that is indeed the fact unless the investigators know more than they are letting on.

The video shows her walking to the pillar, bending over quite low for a few seconds, and then walking back in and toward the bar. It looks like one of her friends checks on her or maybe just speaks to her...can't speculate much on that, It looks like she has a purse over her right shoulder, It never really looks like she is using her cell phone...if she did, it would have been in her left hand, I think. My guess is she did indeed vomit, but can't tell for sure from the video. Doesn't really matter much, as I doubt anyone is claiming she wasn't drinking.

Exactly! No definitive proof she was vomiting. Given her genteel upbringing, I highly doubt she wouldn’t go to the bathroom to clean up after vomiting, despite the fact she was drinking. Most young ladies I know have their cell phones welded to one of their hands. Rarely do I see them carry it in their purse.
