Emilio's is okay but the brand Frank's is way better.... I have not been able to find sabrett's or nathan's at Jumbo or Sirena.

You will find nothing in the DR that can compete with the two mentioned above and Hebrew National. About 10 years ago Pola had Nathan's from time to time, but never any more. Sabrett's has never been sold here. Not sure about the other, but none are available currently...........

You can not compare Emilio's or Franks to a good Chicago Polish Kielbasa dog steam cooked with all the trimmings and a topped with a fresh spicy Kosciuszko mustard.

It's like comparing Moms Mabley to Jennifer Aniston.

They had the Oscar Meyer all-beef hot dogs in Janet's today, but I couldn't find any miniature hot dog buns to put them in and, at $10/lb, I bought a couple bacon wrapped filet mignons instead.

There is NO comparison with the 3 brands mentioned here with Oscar Meyer hot dogs. You did the right thing saving your money..............

I beg to differ. We're not talking about standard run of the mill Oscar Meyer dogs, these are angus beef hotdogs that are head and shoulders above any other Oscar Meyer product. You've probably never even had them.

I must admit, I never knew they existed. I would be willing to try. Growing up in Jersey we had these Thumann's footlong grillers in the summertime. Unmatched quality.

We tried 5 different hot dog brands and found Hebrew National is the perfect Fourth of July treat

I wonder what the results would be if it was a blind taste test.

Which Hot Dog Brand Is Best? A Blind Taste Test of Oscar Mayer, Hebrew National, and More

The Biggest Loser: Oscar Mayer

The ingredients: beef, water, cultured dextrose; contains less than 2% of salt, distilled white vinegar, cultured celery juice, sodium phosphate, cherry powder, flavor, extractives of paprika.

The verdict: Firmly in last place, it seemed that Oscar Mayer couldn’t catch a break with our tasters. “I hate this one?” senior cooking editor Kelsey Youngman said, her inflection rising as if she couldn’t quite figure out why. “It tastes waterlogged,” recipe production assistant Carly Westerfield declared firmly. For associate editor Zoe Denenberg, it was the slimy-soft texture that was the nail in the coffin. She also noticed that the casing had split on many of the dogs. “Eat it if you hate yourself,” she said with a frown
