Does anyone know what the FiR stands for in the bottom right hand corner? Is it just someone's "tag" or is it some political affiliation or group?

Hard to tell, obviously it has some political implication cuz of the Mirabal sisters (Patria, Minerva, Teresa). It might be Frente Revolucionario (Revolutionary Front).

That just looks like a "STAR" between the "F" and the "R".
Not even close to being an "i".
Perhaps the person doing the Grafitti just decided to place a star between the letters.
Or they just got promoted to General by Leonel.

In Santiago, there are many wall Grafitti, signed by "FR".
One in particular translated to English says:

"With 6 pounds of gas, one can not eat"

I didn't have a little star on my keyboard so I improvised with the letter I.

I've been trying to research it online and I can't find anything.

The Graffiti was done in Santiago. Hmmm... plot thickens.

Closer to "crazy radicals" than "just another party", I think. I went to a couple of their Christmas bashes and while there were some nice people there - a real cross section - there was a good chunk of whackjobs too.
