They have a Wendy's here in Santiago next to Bravo. Been there a few times. The last time I ate there was about a year ago, no chocolate frosty only coffee favored. Was told it's a supply chain issue.

When looking at the flipside..
these women are big enough. Wendy's is not the solution.

I doubt they’re going to Wendy’s for weight control. (I’m not a fast food fan, but I’d go there before the other two!).

If I had to choose, Wendy's would win for me. Not sure I would like the coffee flavored frosty over the chocolate (haven't had one in years). Other than their baked potatoes, I remember their chili. Didn't the owner (man who originally started Wendy's) name it after his daughter?

Yes, true. I used to work as a textile converter in Manhattan, and we did much of our dyeing and printing in Fall River, MA. I used to fly into Providence RI to drive there. Early 1970s. That’s where I saw my first ever Wendy’s, a long time before I ever saw one in New York. Had my first burger there. All these many decades later, here they are in DR.

They had a Great Loaded Baked Potato, not sure if they still do that .. and Chili was pretty good, especiallylate at night .
Have not been to a Wendys in a little while .. they have taken over a lot of Old Burger King Locations . When one would close, almost certainly a Wendys would pop up ... Not sure what their arrangement is . Maybe they take over the Leases ?

Never heard of Culver’s. Has there ever been a White Castle in DR? I’ll always remember stopping with my friends after clubbing to pick up bags of burgers.
White Castle, I remember paying like 20 cents for a hamburger back then. I think JD posted in a thread you can or could find the frozen white castle burgers in Santo Domingo.

Someone posted that they saw frozen White Castles in one of the supermercados.

I never had them sober.

Regarding Culvers, there are none in NJ. I think South Carolina is the closest to you, maybe Ohio too? It's worth the drive.

Currently in the Bavaro/ PC area we have 2 Wendy's, 2 Taco Bell, 2 KFC, 1 Burger King, 2 Domino's, 2 or 3 Pizza Huts, 1 Subway, 1 Little Ceasars pizza, about 10,000 independent restaurants.
The one thing they have in common is the service at every single one of them sucks.
They wouldn't last a week in Europe or North America.

White Castle isn’t everywhere in the USA either. Only see them in NYC. lol I don’t remember if I’ve seen them elsewhere. They are like Checkers which the first I noticed was in Florida and then I notice there are a few in NYC too.

Although a place doesn’t need to be everywhere in the USA to arrive in the DR. Wayback from Cheshire, CT is going to open a place in SD. Supposedly they are big and in many countries, but I never heard of them. lol

I go back when there was a White Castle in Brooklyn. Burgers were about 25 cents. We sent a guy with $25 Dollars from the bar and he came back with about 100. Did not last long though.
