Thanks .See post # 75 this thread. Their website says they offer rooms with fans for $25 US per night and rooms with AC for $35 US per night.
The owner is Swiss I believe.

I guess I'm used to the beach hotels, which are much more spacious,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I stayed there two weeks ago and I agree with you assessment. I'd like to add that the rooms are a little run down and can use a face lift.
Next time I'd pick a different hotel.
Can anyone confirm that the Hotel Napolitano allows dominican or any other guests AND DOES NOT CHARGE EXTRA?
hello
at Maison Gautreaux we are guest friendly
Why all the prommotion all of a sudden of this particular hotel, smells a little spammish to me.

So be it, he offered a 10% discount as the owner earlier to DR1.
Certainly more than any other business owner has offered on this site!
Not really, the poster is relatively new to DR1. The hotel is OK. It is guest friendly, in a good location and quite secure. I stayed there once, but now have a place of my own. Not having my own place, I would not hesitate to stay there again..........Why all the prommotion all of a sudden of this particular hotel, smells a little spammish to me.

I strongly suggest that you email the owner for a reservation.
You'll be glad you did!

I've stayed there many many times. As far as bringing guests back to the hotel, the answer is yes. As with just about any hotel, you are welcome to bring back your guests to the hotel with ease. Yes, this hotel does require your guest to provide a ID at the front desk, but this is for the protection of the guest. In the unlikely event that you are robbed or something inappropriate should happen, then the hotel does have a record of who it was and the proper authorities can be summoned.
As far as security, the hotel has individual security lock boxes in every room, where the guests selected their own private combination.
I live in the USA, and visit the DR often, I choose to stay there because of the clean, safe, security, friendly environment, as well as the great location and the good price! - --

I happened to notice 8 of your last 10 posts are reviews for this hotel, don't you think that is a bit overkill?
Perhaps review a restauarant or bar in between your borderline SPAM.
LOL, I think Dakra has gotten to the point he is doing more harm than good. Dakra has only stayed in three hotels in Santo Domingo so what does he know? Nothing!I didn't think this would happen but I have to agree with you here.
