Go down to Pedro Clisante tomorrow on Canada Day. A portion is closed to traffic. Patti and Kelly at the Jolly organise the local businesses and a portion of the street is closed for Canada Day celebrations. Pancake breakfast, lots of tables and events, a dunk tank, lots of stuff for children. I cannot make it down this year but I have been there in previous years and it is a great time.

I disagree with the closing of Pedro Clisante for Canuck day. It seems it's a venue for old folks to hang out and sell junk or/ and play freaken bingo.
The only bright side to this event was the New Life Church setting up, and funding the inflatable kiddy park thingy, and NOT CHARGING THE KIDS A THING.
